With the iPhone 2.1 Software Update, Apple made quite a few improvements to the user interface. Some of the changes may actually slipped by unnoticed. I was listening to my podcasts on the iPhone and spotted one of these.

It is a geek-out weekend for me. I am attending the iPhoneDevCamp held over at Adobe Systems, San Francisco. The event is the second of its kind, a not-for-profit gathering to develop applications for iPhone and iPod Touch.

The iTune store launched the App Store earlier but in order to download any app onto the iPhone, you will need the latest iTunes 7.7 as well as the iPhone 2.0 software upgrade. Apple has yet to officially release the upgrade so when I saw an unofficial link posted in a TechCrunch article, I knew I had to take the plunge!

One of the new features in Mac OS X Leopard is the Quick Look. By using the Quick Look function, you can view files without launching the related application to open it.

Even though the Mac OS does great with all the graphic user interface, there will be times when one needs to dig into the internals of the underlying system through the shell (Terminal). Even more so when you deal with programming of any sort.
