It's been a while since I last wrote anything. Things got a little hectic for a while and days just flew past me in a whizz. In the midst of all that frenzy, I did manage to take a little time off to do something new and different.

I took a walk around a lake, Lake Merritt. Surprising the weather was pretty good that day. It was comfortably warm and sunny, perfect for a nice leisurely stroll.

I have been past Lake Merritt a couple of times but have never really stopped to enjoy the sights. Glad I made time for it.

For me, this walk is of a certain significance, a lot has happened and I truly appreciate the momentary uplift in my otherwise mundane weekend. Hope this will last.
