Even if I do qualify to be a member, I am pretty sure I would not be brave enough to go swimming at the Bondi Icebergs Club. Never mind the freezing cold water, they take their swimming seriously. To be a full swimming member, one has got to swim three out of four Sundays for 5 years.
What I would want is to be there at the club on the cliff top overlooking the famous Bondi Beach, staring at the ocean as the waves repeatedly explode over at the defying sea wall. Preferably warmly clothed.
