I made it in one piece! Rode my bike to the office from the BART station in the morning and then back to the BART station in the evening.
I have never done this in my life before and it feels different. People in San Francisco commute around in their bikes and this form of commute is fused into their culture. Most of the roads here even have designated lanes for bikes. I almost feel healthier from the pedaling.
I was quite apprehensive about riding to work in the morning after my dismal riding on Saturday. Thankfully, it all went well. I had some trouble figuring out the best route but that got sorted out during the ride in the evening.
The scenery along the way was awesome and I actually stopped to take a shot.

It was nice that the sky was still bright when I left the office. Due to daylight saving, we had to change the time so it is an hour earlier. That itself is a strange concept to me. I may be wrong but the whole reason behind it is to ensure that there would be 12 equal hours of daylight regardless of the seasons.
Whatever reason it is, it sure is nice to still catch that view on the ride back. The ride helped clear my mind... at least for a while.
