We see logos everywhere we go. A company logo represents a huge aspect of its brand and if well designed, it would be the single unique graphical element to distinguish itself from competitors.
The San Francisco Municipal Railway (or more commonly known as the Muni) is one great example. The use of rails in the logo is just so apt and brilliant. How else would one represent a transportation agency!
The design is simple and yet so fitting. Kudos to Walter Landor who designed this stylized, trademarked "worm" version during the mid-1970s.
