Got myself a new set of headphones from the Audio Technica's Earsuit range. Decided to replace my Grados SR80 with the Audio-Technica ATH-ES7. Got it from Amazon.com at a price way cheaper than the recommended retail price.
The Grados are great when it comes to the audio quality. However because the Grados are open headphones, the sound through them can be heard by others in the vicinity of the user. Not exactly the kind of headphones I want to use at work, not too nice to disturb the co-workers.
Another reason is to avoid the embarrassment of getting caught playing some lame song. One of my co-worker actually heard me playing Madonna's Material Girl.
LOL. Yes I know. Unforgivable!
My defense is that my music library started way back when I was in college. Back then, you simply collect the songs indiscriminately.
Anyway, I digress. Back to the headphones! So far the ATH-ES7 Earsuit is really sounding great and extremely comfortable to wear. I am quite surprised that it actually offers a certain amount of noise isolation. Cannot wait to break it in and enjoy the sound from it!
